New footage of Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D from Nintendo World Event

The Nintendo World Event in Japan may now be over, but it’s still giving us some goodness as we have a video showcasing Resident Evil: Revelations.  Capcom’s first major Resident Evil foray on the 3DS, RE Revelations is a special thing of sorts as it’s a RE chapter that’s returning to the horror roots of the series instead of being an almost bombastic action centric title like Resident Evil 5.

Dead or Alive Dimensions set for combat on the 3DS very soon

There may already be a nice fighting game presence at the launch of the Nintendo 3DS in the form of Super Street Fighter IV 3D, but Nintendo’s new handheld will get even more fighting goodness.  Tecmo Koei has announced that Dead or Alive Dimensions will be released in Japan on March 24th, a mere month after the 3DS launches in Japan. So far DOA Dimensions has impressed the loyal legions of DOA fans as it looks graphically impressive and since it’s the first DOA game we’ve gotten since 2006.

Jaw dropping new screens of Resident Evil: Revelations and RE: Mercenaries 3D

We haven’t seen much of the Nintendo 3DS in action, but what we have seen has looked beyond ridiculous from a graphics standpoint.  It shouldn’t be too surprising that Capcom seems to be at the forefront of the developers tapping into the graphical capabilities of the 3DS but damn, the new Resident Evil games for the 3DS are looking beyond good.  Capcom has been nice in the past to share some new screens of Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D Edition, but this new crop of screens are simply breathtaking.
