Extra! Extra! New DLC Bonanza Headed Your Way!

Starting tomorrow, Battlefield Bad Company 2 fans can download the exclusive “Kit Upgrade Pack” on Xbox Live. The opportunity to download the new DLC will only be available for the Xbox 360 version, whereas the PS3 and PC version has no release window announced yet. The DLC exclusive can only be obtained through a Dr. Pepper and EA free DLC promotion.  This promotion previously offered free DLC for games like Mass Effect 2 and Sims 3.

Overall Feeling: 

A more serious tone to the story aided by improvements to every last detail from the first game creates and exciting and entertaining single player campaign while continuing the Battlefield tradition of intensely satisfying multiplayer experiences.

The Pros: 

Impressive cast of interesting and entertaining characters.
A wide assortment of weapons, all reliable while providing variety.
Interesting twist to multiplayer that encourages team work, and staying alive over lone-wolf meat-grinder play.

The Cons: 

Almost nothing, pressed to provide something I would say I was a little let down that the story wasn't as campy as the first title.

Welcome one and all to the return of QuarterSave! Now that the Olympics have finished up, it’s back to business as usual (or close to it anyways). The podcast has undergone a bit of a shift and features the hosting talents of one Mr Corey Rollins of ShogunGamer fame, affectionately referred to as BP*. The format has shifted a little bit as well as you’ll notice by the show notes provided for you below. What we’re aiming to do is get a bit of a discussion going on some hot topics that we notice from week to week in the gaming culture.
