Mortal Kombat: Legacy Finally Gets Dated For Blu-ray and DVD

For the past two weeks I’ve been feeling a void of sorts in my life and that’s probably because I no longer have a new episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy to look forward to.  Mortal Kombat: Legacy definitely ended things with a bang since the final episode revolving around Cyrax and Sektor was exceedingly cool but at the same time was bittersweet since a 2nd series or movie still hasn’t been greenlit. But come this November we can enjoy some more Mortal Kombat: Legacy action thanks to the series arriving on Blu-ray and DVD.

A Good Update On Tekken: Blood Vengance, The New CG Tekken Film

Last week was such a crazy week for me with E3 going on and all that I totally missed out on one cool announcement. But looking at things I don’t think I was the only one who missed out on this news considering that a bazillion things were going on at E3 and most of us were either bitching about Kinect (at least the sensible ones), applauding how damn cool the PlayStation Vita is or merely wondering what sort of mind frame Nintendo is in right now.

King of Fighters: The Movie Is Coming To Blu-ray. Now We Can Complete Our Bad Video Game Movie Collections

I suppose this is a case of better late than never, but after having a stealth release on DVD the live-action film adaptation of the popular King of Fighters video game is being released on Blu-ray this Summer.  Just like the somewhat terribad live-action Tekken movie, the KOF film skipped theaters entirely, or at least theaters in North America, and went straight to DVD.

Resistance 3 Single-Player Demo Set To Drop Soon But There's A Catch

Resistance 3 could very well be one of the highlight games of 2011 and soon we’ll find out if it has the goods since a single-player demo is being prepped.  It’s somewhat rare to see a 1st party Sony game receive a demo this early in advance to its impending release, but it appears that Sony is keen on fully promoting Resistance 3 to the masses instead of merely targeting the core gamer demographic.

The Mortal Kombat Movies Finally Come To Blu-ray This April

It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago, but it has been sixteen years since the first Mortal Kombat movie was released.  Yeah, Mortal Kombat has been around for a long time but to me it just doesn’t seem that long when ago I saw the MK movie in the theater with the music pumping, the audience flipping out during the Scorpion vs.

Avatar Extended Collector's Edition Blu-ray Drops November 16th

New Alien Anthology Blu-Ray Box Set Will Make Your Home Theater Scream.

If you are a Sci-Fi buff such as myself and many of my fellow Shogun Gamer community members then you should be aware that the Alien movie franchise (with the exception of the fourth movie which was meh) is one of the most influential and beloved Sci-Fi cinema ever.

Star Wars to Finally Makes its Debut on Blu-Ray

Information released during this year’s Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) regarding the future of Star Wars. In an announcement from Steve Sansweet, Director of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm, it was confirmed that the Star Wars saga will finally make its long-awaited debut on Blu-ray. Sansweet revealed that they have been hard at work for the last couple of years putting together the set. Finally some good news for fans of Star Wars and Blu-ray alike, as this is something we’ve all been eagerly anticipating!
