Sons of Anarchy Video Game May Now Be Postponed Indefinitely

Looked upon as a cool thing when it was announced, the video game adaptation of the hit FX show Sons of Anarchy may not be moving forward at this point in time. Initially conceived as a browser game by series creator Kurt Sutter and the FX brass, the game then made the leap to become a full console based game after interest was shown by an unannounced publishing partner.

Sons of Anarchy Game Is Coming To A Wider Audience

Those who enjoy watching biker gangs do battle against each other and can appreciate dramas ripe with family strife may enjoy this update concerning Sons of Anarchy.  Earlier this year Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter revealed via his Twitter account that he was meeting with publishers to discuss an in-depth browser based Sons of Anarchy video game.

Sons of Anarchy May Finally Receive The Video Game Treatment

Most video games we’ve received in that past that were based on TV shows haven’t been that good, just like most licensed games in general.  Even a formula that would seem perfect for a video game such as the action packed anti-terror thriller that was “24” resulted in a video game experience that was mediocre at best. As a TV show addict I still give some games a shot, if only to see how faithful they are to the property and to see if they can turn the premise into an entertaining interactive experience.
