Vergil Officially Returns For DmC [Video]

Ninja Theory may finally be building up some goodwill amongst the Devil May Cry fanbase as the studio has finally revealed their take on Vergil, Dante’s twin brother.  An iconic badass in the Devil May Cry franchise, Vergil was a character that was long rumored to be in Ninja Theory’s reimagining of DmC and now we have the complete goods on him thanks to this new Gamescom 2012 trailer.

Capcom Announces Remember Me, A New Sci-Fi Action Game With An Inception Edge

Gamescom has officially kicked off and shockingly Capcom has the first true surprise of the show since the company has announced a new IP.  It has been a while since we’ve seen the old Capcom of the previous generation make an appearance these days seeing as how the company seems more focused on releasing big games that are expected to net a big profit. But today the company has announced Remember Me, a sci-fi 3rd person action-adventure game created by the France based Dontnod Entertainment.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified (PS Vita Game) Set To Debut At Gamescom

In the off chance that you’ve been living in a cave for the past few weeks or are generally oblivious to most things, the wonderful event that is Gamescom is kicking off next week. A smaller scale version of E3 centered on the European gaming market, Gamescom has always been the home of key announcements and reveals despite the show growing smaller in past years. So far we haven’t heard much in the way of rumored Gamescom announcements from those set to attend, but one thing that will be making its long awaited debut is Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified.

First "Screens" Of Rambo: The Video Game

Right now gamers can channel their inner 1980s action hero by experiencing The Expendables 2: Videogame, which to put it bluntly is a complete waste of money.  I won’t delve too deeply into what’s wrong with the video game adaptation of The Expendables 2, but suffice to say that it hasn’t exactly hit the chords gamers wanted it to achieve. Hope isn’t entirely lost though as we could have the ultimate dumb 1980s inspired action experience via another Sly Stallone vehicle – Rambo.

Sony Announces Gamescom Press Event. Will Key Announcements Be Made?

August is usually looked upon as a somewhat ho-hum month since not a lot happens.  Game releases can be tepid at best and groundbreaking announcements are few and far between since those within the industry are too busy prepping for the always massive Holiday gaming season. I may have a bit of bias when it comes to August seeing as how my birthday occurs at the end of the month, but the month could get a bit of buzz thanks to Sony.
