Max Payne 3

Rockstar Games Releases New Max Payne 3 Game Doc Video

It seems slightly surreal that after waiting almost three years we’re finally going to receive a new Max Payne game. Rockstar Games may have already shown us a glimpse at the near down trodden yet action packed adventure of Max Payne 3, but now we have a better look at what we can expect from the game thanks to this new video showcasing the design and tech being implemented into the project.

Max Payne 3 Screens Features Lots Of Explosions, Bullets and Moody Atmosphere

At this point we all may be in a fervor over the impending release of the GTA5 announcement trailer tomorrow, but Rockstar Games still has one other project in the pipeline we best not forget about: Max Payne 3.  In a way Rockstar may be stealing their own thunder since gamers are slightly fonder of GTA than the antics of the tortured soul that is Max Payne, but the long awaited third entry in the Max Payne series is looking rather good and grim in all the right places.

Rockstar Games Gives Us More Screens of Max Payne 3

Since the game has finally met the level of quality Rockstar Games expects from their projects, Max Payne 3 is in full-on media mode in advance of its March 2012 release.  The noir filled action journey of Max Payne 3 has already been detailed through the premier trailer Rockstar released last month and now we have some new screens of the title that further shows us that despite how grizzled Max may be he still has the goods.

Max Payne 3 Premier Trailer Features More Internal Struggling and Tons Of Violence

After waiting patiently the day has finally arrived: we have our first trailer for Max Payne 3. Max Payne 3 has been in the works for so long that I remember one of my very first stories on Shogun Gamer was about the game and that was almost three years ago.  But whatever development problems Max Payne 3 may have encountered the game is looking flat out unbelievable in this premier trailer.

Rockstar Games Finally Reveals When Max Payne 3 Will Be Ready

Rockstar Games have finally done us all a favor: they’ve announced the scheduled release date for Max Payne 3.  In development for a considerably long time, Max Payne’s debut on the HD consoles was originally slated to occur way back in Winter 2009. But as is the norm for most games produced by Rockstar, Max Payne 3 suffered a few major setbacks which included a swithcheroo amongst dev teams and three supposed script revisions.

Latest Max Payne 3 Screens Are A Mixture of Grizzzled Max And Even More Grizzled Max

The exact nature of Max Payne 3 and whether or not it’ll be good is still something that’s trying to be figured out.  Personally I think that Max Payne 3 will continue the Rockstar Games tradition of a game looking like it could be a bloated mess only to turn out to be a game that’s exceptional in almost every category.

Max Payne 3 Details Emerge, Sounds Like They Have Potential

After opting to stay coy for nearly two years, Rockstar Games surprised us all last week by unveiling three new images from Max Payne 3. No, Rockstar wasn’t fooling us with an almost twisted April’s Fools’ Day prank as the images were legit and were a tease of an impending reveal.  Of course we didn’t have a clue as to when Rockstar was planning to fill us in on the long in development Max Payne 3, but thankfully Edge managed to get the details on the long awaited return of everyone’s favorite tortured police officer.

Max Payne 3 Is Alive And Well In These New Screenshots

Back in the day gamers were treated to a video game that was wildly different from what we were used to seeing at the time: we received a noir-ish and strictly mature action game in the form of Max Payne.  Seeing a third person action game in which gamers play as a cop wasn’t anything new, but playing as a cop that has issues and playing a level that was his nightmare was something that we hadn’t seen before.

Rockstar pulls out of E3

It’s time to shed a tear as Rockstar Games have announced they’re pulling out of E3.  With the event two weeks away many were hoping to get their first look at Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire and maybe the PS3 exclusive Agent.  But alas it’s not meant to be.

Our first details on Max Payne 3

Since being announced in March the fan reaction to Max Payne 3 has been quite mixed. Fans are happy to see Max make a return but his new aged appearance have left some a bit pissed off. Even despite the fact that Rockstar Vancouver (The Warriors, Bully) is developing the game the hype and anticipation for Max Payne 3 is quite lukewarm so far.
