Mech Warrior is the new hotness for Crysis

Crysis has become synonymous with mods since its release back in ’07. Most recently you might remember the release of the Back to the Future mod that would allow you to spin the Delorean up to 88 MPH and shoot back/forwards in time with incredible detailing on the effects and car-likeness. Now it seems that someone has decided to one-up that mod with nostalgia and depth.

There haven’t been enough mech games this gen. Sure, we have the occasional Gundam and Armored Core release pop up every now and then but since those games are a bit rough around the edges fans of the mech genre are still left a bit hungry. Hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer to step into the seat of a massive mech and let the mayhem begin as the MechWarrior franchise is being revived via a reboot for the Xbox 360 and PC.
