Media Molecule gives us an update on how PS Move will factor into LBP2

Yesterday we got some news regarding the Trophies of LittleBigPlanet 2 and now today some news regarding the much talked about topic of PlayStation Move integration has arisen.  LBP2 supporting the PlayStation Move isn’t that much of a shocker but the key question was if the game would have Move support day 1 when it launches in January or if the goodness would come at a later date.  Well it’s kind of a combination of both based on what Sony and Media Molecule are planning.

LittleBigPlanet 2 gets delayed and Sack people across the world cry

Sackboy fans across the world may want to sit down since Media Molecule have announced that LittleBigPlanet 2 has been delayed.  The delay isn’t a drastic one as LBP2 will now shift from its original November 2010 release and will now launch worldwide in January.

This update concerning LBP2 isn’t a major piece of news as it’s more a sign of the cool things to come.  We all know that when put in the hands of a highly creative person the things that can be created in LBP are limitless.  With the added improvements of LBP2 which allow users to create any style of game they wish, LBP2 will no doubt serve as the host for countless games based off of popular franchises.  The talented creators of LBP2 will obviously design their odes to Sonic and Super Mario Brothers but what about Zone of the Enders?

Sony finally seems intent on offering some snazzy Collector’s Edition versions for their big games and the next one we can expect is for LittleBigPlanet 2. Not only did Sony announce the CE for LBP2 but they also revealed the North American release date and a wealth of new costumes that will make LBP fans jump with glee.

Sony acquires LBP developer Media Molecule

We all know that Sony loves Media Molecule and the extremely cute Sackboy a lot but Sony loves them so much that they’ve gone and bought the company.  Today Sony has announced that they’ve bought the British company for an undisclosed amount.  Sackboy must be a happy camper today.

Pirates of the Caribbean content announced for LittleBigPlanet

After being leaked last week Sony, Media Molecule and Disney have officially announced the Pirates of the Caribbean kit for LittleBigPlanet.  The kit isn’t merely another compilation of new stickers and costumes as it will come with six levels and it will also mark the release of the much wanted LBP feature of water as a creation tool.
