Max Payne 3 Premier Trailer Features More Internal Struggling and Tons Of Violence

After waiting patiently the day has finally arrived: we have our first trailer for Max Payne 3. Max Payne 3 has been in the works for so long that I remember one of my very first stories on Shogun Gamer was about the game and that was almost three years ago.  But whatever development problems Max Payne 3 may have encountered the game is looking flat out unbelievable in this premier trailer.

Rockstar Games Finally Reveals When Max Payne 3 Will Be Ready

Rockstar Games have finally done us all a favor: they’ve announced the scheduled release date for Max Payne 3.  In development for a considerably long time, Max Payne’s debut on the HD consoles was originally slated to occur way back in Winter 2009. But as is the norm for most games produced by Rockstar, Max Payne 3 suffered a few major setbacks which included a swithcheroo amongst dev teams and three supposed script revisions.

Latest Max Payne 3 Screens Are A Mixture of Grizzzled Max And Even More Grizzled Max

The exact nature of Max Payne 3 and whether or not it’ll be good is still something that’s trying to be figured out.  Personally I think that Max Payne 3 will continue the Rockstar Games tradition of a game looking like it could be a bloated mess only to turn out to be a game that’s exceptional in almost every category.

Here's An Extremely Small Taste Of Rockstar's Cancelled 1960's Gang Game

Rockstar Games is known for keeping many of their projects closely guarded and while it may take four of five years for a game to finally come out, it’s definitely worth the wait. But sometimes there are Rockstar projects that sadly fall by the waste side such as the 1960’s based gang game the company’s Toronto branch was developing.  We caught wind of this canceled gang project a while ago, but today we have a few more tidbits on the project along with some simple in-game images.

Max Payne 3 Is Alive And Well In These New Screenshots

Back in the day gamers were treated to a video game that was wildly different from what we were used to seeing at the time: we received a noir-ish and strictly mature action game in the form of Max Payne.  Seeing a third person action game in which gamers play as a cop wasn’t anything new, but playing as a cop that has issues and playing a level that was his nightmare was something that we hadn’t seen before.

Rockstar Toronto reportedly worked on a 1960s gang game

Twitter usually isn’t the most reliable place for inside gaming news and rumors as it’s often a pit of garbage. But there is one reliable source of juicy gaming news on Twitter, and that's Veracious Shit. In the past Veracious Shit has informed us on the history behind L.A. Noire along with dropping the first word on Avalanche Studios (Just Cause 2) working on a game based on an upcoming sci-fi movie.
