First Details And Video Come In On Uncharted 3's Multiplayer Mode

Uncharted 3 may still be months away from release but we all know that the chances are very high at it being an amazing game.

Motorstorm: Apocalypse Finally Gets A North American Release Date

Sometimes stuff in the real world impacts the video games we love to play and such a thing occurred in the middle of last month after Japan was sadly rocked by two devastating natural disasters last month.  Since incidents like earthquakes and tsunamis can be a touchy thing for some people, Sony opted to delay the North American and European release for Motorstorm: Apocalypse, which puts players directly in the middle of a destroyed city.  Sony eventually released Motorstorm: Apocalypse in Europe at the end of March, but a North American date was still up in the air - that is unti

Latest Resistance 3 Gameplay Video Shows That The Game Is On The Right Track

Instead of waiting to show off things at E3, Insomniac and Sony have been keen showing a lot of Resistance 3 to the public lately.  Stuff like Insomniac’s recent games day allowed a bunch of lucky folks to get some hands-on time with the multiplayer mode of R3 and shortly a large amount of gamers will be privy to the multiplayer beta that’s set to launch.  Perhaps the big reason for this Resistance 3 push is to show gamers that after the mehtacular project that was Resistance 2 Insomniac has learned their lesson and won’t be making such mistakes in R3.

The Roads Are Once Again Dangerous In This New Twisted Metal Trailer

To many hardcore PlayStation gamers the Twisted Metal franchise holds a special place in the hearts of gamers.  Back in the day of the PS1, the Twisted Metal franchise was the first major game that allowed gamers to hop behind the wheel of a vehicle and let gamers go completely mad as they blew up other cars, some of which included an ice cream truck and a man trapped between two massive wheels.

Supposed Sony E3 2011 Details Come Forth But Are They Real Or Fake As Hell?

Leading up to the joyous event that is E3 there’s nothing better than enjoying some of the pre-E3 hype and rumors that come out.  Occasionally leading up to E3 we’re privy to finding out some unannounced details, some of which come from inside sources while others are accidentally revealed by the companies themselves (never forget the infamous PSPgo Qore incident of 2009). Usually we don’t get major E3 rumors as early as April, but a source has come forth that reportedly has the “inside” info on what Sony is prepping to unveil this year.

Insomniac Games Reveals Two Major Additions For Resistance 3

Following in line with pretty much every other major 1st party release, Insomniac Games has revealed that Resistance 3 will support the PlayStation Move + PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter along with featuring 3D support, hence the picture of Insomniac CEO Ted Price and Community Manager James Stevenson looking a bit silly.  The announcement was made today during Insomniac’s special Community Day in which a bunch of lucky gamers got the chance to visit Insomniac’s California studio and see a bunch

The Rhythm Action Continues In Patapon 3

The war drum is beating once more as another Patapon game is hitting the PSP this year. It may seem a bit pointless to release another Patapon game for the PSP when the NGP is waiting in the wings, but we can just look at Patapon 3 as the perfect send-off for the PSP.  For gamers who didn’t play the first two Patapon games, which I think is quite a few of you out there, the Patapon series involves players rhythmically tapping the face buttons (Triangle, Circle, etc.) in order to move a series of cute little critters as they engage in battle.

First Footage of Kratos Unleashing His Fury and Rage in Mortal Kombat

When it was revealed back in December that Kratos would be joining the combatants in the newest Mortal Kombat game, I think some gamers didn’t know what to expect.  We’ve already seen Kratos pop up in a fighting game before (Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny) but that appearance wasn’t really the best and the thinking amongst some gamers was that Sony may have finally been whoring our favorite war god a bit too much.

Some Potential Names Pop Up For Quantic Dream's Next Project

Last year we were given Heavy Rain, a game that for almost two years prior had a pretty heavy amount of hype going for it.  Heavy Rain was far from being a perfect game as it had a few issues (no, I’m not directly referring to the now meme worthy Jason! moment), but as a whole the game did deliver the goods, whether it was on a technical level or through providing a narrative that despite a few kinks was still captivating and wasn’t the overly simplified rubbish we’re used to seeing in games.

Motorstorm: Apocalypse Gets Bumped From April To...

After receiving a logical delay and a perhaps too cautious delay in Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that Motorstorm: Apocalypse will be delayed in North America. Originally the game was set to drop on April 19th, a month after its debut in Europe.  But after the horrific incidents that rocked Japan two weeks ago, SCE has decided to bump Motorstorm: Apocalypse to an unspecified release window for this year.
