Killzone: Mercenary Details + New Image Surface

So far 2013 looks a bit grim when it comes to compelling software for the PlayStation Vita.  This of course is a rather stark, and slightly depressing, contrast to this time last year when it looked as if the Vita would be nearly unstoppable; that’s of course until the device reached retail shelves with a lukewarm reaction and key games were nowhere to be found post launch.

Another Look At The Unreleased Games From Studio Cambridge

A day removed from the announcement that Studio Liverpool is no more, gamers are still likely a bit peeved if not already holding their pitchforks ready to attack Sony for the seemingly unjust closure of a beloved and classic studio.  While fans of Studio Liverpool and the studio’s flagship franchise Wipeout will likely have to go through the twelve steps of recovery after losing a loved one, some interesting tidbits have arisen out of Studio Cambridge.

Since I’m in a slightly bitter mood I thought I would share this little gem I stumbled across today amidst by on-going Battlestar Galactica marathon.  While we may have dodged a bullet by Bethesda Zenimax sparing Prey 2 for now, not every game is that lucky as some are cancelled no matter how much money has been sunk in.

Sony Shifts UK Studios Once More, Shutters PSP/Vita Studio

Sony has once again decided to trim its existing UK based studios which has sadly resulted in one closure.  After downsizing the staff at Studio Cambridge, Team Soho, and Sony Liverpool, Sony has opted to close BigBig Studios along with downsizing and changing the focus of Studio Cambridge once more.
