Red Faction multiplayer demo is pure fun

A while back THQ launched a demo of the single player version of Red Faction: Guerrilla on the Xbox Live Market Place and the Playstation Network. Now two weeks before the games launch date they’ve been kind enough to give us a taste of one of the multiplayer modes in the game.

Primetime's first enterance: 1 vs 100 on XBLA

A few weeks ago Microsoft pulled a surprising switch, releasing 1 vs 100 beta to Canadian Xbox Live users. Canada is generally the last place to get to play games; betas are generally UK or US affair. That being said, I was obviously eager to jump in and try it out.

Unfortunately the majority of the episodes take place while I’m at work. Last week when I tried to get in on a Saturday showcase my internet went down for the two hours where the shows were airing. But finally this week I got in on two 1 vs 100 Extended Play sessions.

Find out why Fallout 3 DLC took so long to reach PS3. Had nothing to do with exclusivity deal.

In a piece of great news for all Fallout 3 fans, Bethesda has just announced that not only are they releasing two new expansions for the incrediably popular Fallout 3 franchise, they're intending to port over all their Fallout 3 expansions over to the PS3.  This will start with the Operation: Anchorage expansion in the Playstation Store this June, with The Pitt following 4-6 weeks after Operation:Anchorage and each expansion being spaced about the same length of time apart.

After the release of Bionic Commando: Rearmed last year many gamers have been aching for HD remixes of classic games. Whether it’s Strider, Mega Man, Vector Man or other classic titles gamers out there would love to play some of their old favorites with shiny HD visuals while still retaining the core gameplay that makes them so good.

It seems to be that we’re in luck as another game is getting the HD remix treatment although it’s a game that we weren’t really expecting: a remake of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game “Turtles in Time.”

Capcom announces Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes

One of the most popular fighting games to have been released in the past 10 years was the Marvel vs. Capcom series. The unlikely pairing of the Marvel and Capcom characters worked perfectly and gave players an extremely enjoyable and technical fighting game. It has certainly been a long wait but now fans will be getting a follow-up to Marvel vs. Capcom in the form of Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes for the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.
