Have you ever thought you seen a ghost? Have you ever heard strange noises at night that you couldn't explain? Have you ever been visited by any of the 3 ghosts of Christmas?

Nope. In the real world, there's no such thing as wizardry or magic.

That depends entirely on you.

"Imagination is accepted as the innate ability and process
to invent partial or complete personal realms the mind derives from
sense perceptions of the shared world. The term is technically used in psychology for the process of reviving in the mind percepts of objects formerly given in sense perception. Since this use of the term conflicts with that of ordinary language, some psychologists have preferred to describe this process as "imaging" or "imagery"
or to speak of it as "reproductive" as opposed to "productive" or
"constructive" imagination. Imagined images are seen with the "mind's eye". One hypothesis for the evolution of human imagination is that it allowed conscious beings to solve problems (and hence increase an individual's fitness) by use of mental simulation." - Wikipedia

Having this as a proof. Any ghost or any supernatural being you've seen, aside form Christian beliefs, for me are part of your imagination, created solely by your mind. And your mind is in your brain, but you can't change your brain, can you? It's on you what changes you desire to make on your mind and if you're willing to take the challenge of having it not controlling you, but you controlling it.

You, as an advanced living organism, are able to master your cognition. But like I said, it depends entirely on you.

Well to acctually contribute some content the thread was intended for I will share 3 of my most interesting "paranormal" experiences.

1. A friend of mine snuck us(Him, a girl, and myself) into his place of work after hours (He worked at the swimming pool) it was about 2 or 3 in the morning and we were the only ones in the building. From another room we heard(and Felt) someone running across the deck of the pool, the footseps shook the floor and you could hear the slap of bare feet on wet floor. We ran into the main room and searched the building high and low, there was no sign of anyone entering or leaving, it was scary to say the least.

2. A freind and I decided to go explore some old buildings in the historic Missionary Park in town in the middle of the pitch black night, these buildings were in use by the Catholic church years ago and the locals at the time suffered dearly at the hads of the church. Needless to say the now boarded up buildings were hard to get into and very dangerous inside(holes in the floor, weak structure, missing stairs) but they were also filled with neat artificats. Now we were young and pretty much looking for a good scare however not like what happened to us. When we got to the deepest part of the building (after a very dangerous treck thru the rotting building) the flashlight in my hand stopped working, it didn't dim and die, it just turned off, we were now in complete darkness in a scary, dangerous building. We managed to find our way out safely, never losing contact with each other, my hand always on my buddy's shoulder. The eeriest part of the whole experience was as we got out of the building, almost instantantly my flashlight turned on and worked great for the rest of the night.

3. When I was young about 9 or 10 (at the age where my parents could leave me home alone for a few hours in the afternoon it they both had to work or wanted to go golfing). I was home alone and decided I wanted to go play in the basement. We didn't have a creepy basement it was finished nicely and I shared my toy room with my dad's workout room, with a big Heavy Bag hanging in the middle of the room. when I entered the room the heavy bag was swinging about 2 feet each way, rocking back and forth like someone just finished wailing on it, at 9 years old I could barely moove the thing if I pushed with all I had but here I was home alone and the bag was moving on its own. I could never explain that one to mself and it still freaks me out to this day.

Now that I have shared these experiences with you(and mostly before Diego trys to find a "logical" explination for everything), I want you to know that I don't neccisarily believe any of this was anymore than things that could be explained without "paranormal" activities as the cause, but while I was experienceing these events I was truly horrified and to this day they have not been solved.

Wow those experiences are crazy. Here, people do something similar to #2: there's a graveyard by train tracks where everyone goes and claims something freaky happens each time. I don't go because I'm terrible with scary moments lol.

From my experience, I dunno if I have really. I've only ever heard things, and that could just be from hysteria/paranoia (what Diego was saying). I don't doubt that they do in fact happen though because there are still plenty of mysterious and unexplainable things.

For #3: You sure there was no wind? Or perhaps you were stronger than you actually thought you were.
For #2: Just how cold was it? Some LED flashlights tend to stop working due to cold temperatures. Or perhaps some batteries mislocated while being inside the tight building, then the movement you made of your hand at the relief of getting out suddenly putted them back in position.
For #1: Were you smoking pot?

For #3: I don't think you realize what a HeavyBag is... It is a HEAVY bag, wind(especially indoors) would not move this thing, and the thing was swinging when I entered the room which had been vacant for at least an hour.

For #2: It was mild but not cold, it was an incandecent bulb, Maglite flashlight.

For #1: I had maby 2 beers, had not smoked any weed.

I don't want to start a flame war, but how can you laugh at magic and believe religion? Wouldn't you consider the parting of the red sea the most epic magic trick of all time?

I think that for many reasons, we should stop such a discussion, in order to avoid offending others about it.

True enough, but perhaps you should have heeded your own advise before so matter of factly denying magic or paranormal activity which, just as many people believe in as do religion.

I was just saying my opinion about it with some explanation. In the end, I would like to say that any offense I may have caused to someone on that post was not intended, and that I do not want to be the cause of a brawl in such a successful community. For this incident, I would like to apologize.

suggestion that doesnt have to do with my story : don't watch videos and photos of aliens and ufos at night.....or watch the movie signs...i remember i went to sleep and i kept thinking that theres aliens walking outside my building just like in signs..ahahahahaha good movie XD

How can you say? The only way men can get to know aliens is if they actually get in sight and interact with each other. Aliens are something you have to see to believe. About UFO's, no necessarily paranormal. Considering it was in the night, perhaps you couldn't see that maybe it was military aircraft.

That would be a unique trip to say the least. We will be hunting and bagging ghost for your safety. I haven't had any paranormal activities but I have had weird things happen.

I once lost my house keys and couldn't find them for weeks. Then one night I had a weird dream that I woke up and went to my closet and took them out of a pair of jeans I had. The minute I woke up  I did that and their they were.

That's a premonition.
