Basically what Escaflone said. I don't wanna say the motion control is a gimmick, because the Wii is selling like hot cakes (still). But motion control IS the Wii. On 360 and PS3 it probably wouldn't be as good and/or it wouldn't have that great games for it, because they would just make it on the Wii. Maybe they are just trying to get a piece of that market but we will see if/what they come up with.
yes and they should put out a porno interactive game to play with it.
At least if we can actually control the game then yes, a motion controller would be awesome.
Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made, Bushido blade re made
Yup, that about sums up my point
I'd love to see motion control in certain places, as Michael-Sean points out there it would be great for fighting games, or dueling, etc. And in some games even the six-axis has been nicely incorporated without feeling gimiky, aka sniping in KZ2, I loved how you had to actually hold your controller steady to get a steady shot, or could fine tune aiming using the motion control.
The only problem I see is that it would be a nightmare to program for and I have a hard time seeing developers investing the time and resources to flesh it out properly when it's so new and would require a lot of tweaking to get right. From what I've seen in hte past 3rd party developers tend to be very leary of new tech, as trying to get the software side of it up and running must be a nightmare.
Overall I honestly don't see it being taken advantage of much, even the Wii has had a hard time really getting it incorporated properly and getting good 3rd party support, and the thing has sold like hotcakes. How much harder would it get to have someone develop a multi million dollar PS3 or 360 game.
Haha, bushido Blade+motion control would be pretty awesome, it's about the only reason I could think of for really wanting motion control on the PS3/360 though tbh. *swings controller around neck height - fight over, :O* Easily one of the most realistic fighting games..even if it often made for very short fights if your opponent didn't react fast enough (and the CPU rarely did, unfortunately) lol
I don't think games like the Halo and Killzone series would work with motion controls.

i dont see games like that using motion control. Its probably mostly be sports and puzzle games that will use the motion control.
Yes, Bushido Blade's first person fighting would be awesome with motion control!!
Also, I wouldn't mind a "waggle mode" Tekken just for fun. The 360's idea for motion control is a motion-sensitive camera. Since Tekken's 4 attack buttons correspond to different arms/legs, could just move an arm for a punch, both arms for a throw, etc. I'm sure the only way I would be effective at all is just in spamming some dumb, easy combo (Lee Chaolan's down + circle, circle, circle).
omfg speaking of Tekken did anyone else have an arcade that had motion sensor Tekken? Here in BC we had Playdium. you looked retarded and it only kinda worked but it was so much fun. You actually had to punch kick and move etc to make the characters move.
Wouldn't be cool if they made a controller that worked like the Force push. IE for the upcoming Ghostbusters when you trap an enemy & they pull away from you the controller pulls away & you have to pull it back towards you. I doubt that will happen anytime soon or at all but nobody should make a motion controller until they're able to do that. Umm, the Wii doesn't do that right?
Having played the Wii several times (the girlfriend insists) it's a nice concept (especially when it was first introduced). The problem is that for every Mario Galaxy there is around 10 forms of shovelware for the console. Even when I played Twilight Princess which I loved, the Wiimote wasn't used too well. Sure, firing arrows was fantastic but to swing your sword, you simply shook the Wiimote, there was no connection between the angle of your swing and that of Links. I am hopeful that the new Zelda might use the Wiimote better.
Regardless (really went off topic there), I don't really care for motion controllers on the Ps3 and 360. For me too many developers seem to half ass the technology and try to rely on the intrigue of the controller rather than the merits of the game itself. The Ps3 is in need of some RPGs and a motion controller won't bring them about!

I feel that they should not come up with motion control, solely because it may switch the focus of hardcore games, into casual monotonous games (*cough* wiiware *cough*). If it does not switch the focus completely, it still may take some attention away from awesome games like KZ2, FFXIII, inFamous, etc. I dunno, just my thoughts...
