yes and so far it's all that I expected to be. AWESOME!!
Good to hear my man, but it does make me want the game even more. Oh well. What's your character like?

You should sign up here. It keeps track of your character and your progress for you and your friends to check out.
These are some of the stat pages for my current character in the game so far.

I was initially going to sign up when I downloaded the character creator but my PC had a real hard time running it - my graphics card was powerful but my RAM was too low so I just got to stare at the main screen. :(
Nice character though - imaginative name :P

that's the name I always use every RPG I play that allows me to name my character since is my favorite all time RPG character
That's cool as hell you can do that. And RAM is the most cost effective computer upgrade. Cheap and it can really improve your performance.
Sephiroth is a BA MFer.
I'm just teasing, I often opt for the timeless classic "Scott" or it I really want to mess things up "Scotty".
Dragon
Age: Origins to get lastest DLC this upcoming Holiday season. The newest DLC titled "Return to Ostagar" will be available to download for $5 (400 MS pts). The DLC will involve your character going back to Ostagar to reclaim the Grey Warden's honor and to find out more details
on Ferelden fallen king. Hopefully this DLC will come out in Dec.
Good to know that there's more DLC to play through when I finish the game. Hopefully they'll soon release more talents (etc) similar to Fallout 3.

they said when they was working on DA that they will at least be 1-2 years worth of DLC for the game. My concern is that these DLC will be little tidbits rather than real meaty content.
That is a cocern, though I'm just happen to have some DLC. Remember Sith, the said the same thing for Mass Effect and in the end they produced only two add-ons (the second on which was a complete joke).
Been playing the game since Friday and I'm loving. There's so much to do. The visuals are as bad as everyone says but when the gameplay is so terrific, I couldn't care less.
nothing wrong with it. The Mabari gets it next!
Zevran is clearly the whore of the party - he's practically willing to sleep with you as soon as you meet him. Any news on the new DLC Sith, Return to Ostagar?

unfortunately nothing new, all I know is they will release it during the holiday which I assume is this month before Xmas.
they gave me a new DLC weapon for free last night called "The Edge" which is a dagger with two rune slots. Did any else who is playing the game got it as well?
Is the dagger any good? I just got the Spellweaver and it's amazing.

I have the Spellweaver and havent used it yet since I just got the Arcane Warrior skill added to my mages. The Edge is pretty good especially for my main character since I only dual wield. It nicely replaces my Cheese Slicer dagger. The Edge + Starfang as my main sword = death
The Arcane Warrior with the Warden Commander Armour and the Spellweaver is awesome. Only problem is that all your power comes from a host of sustain spells - I've got two rows worth. If you get hit with a dispell you're in trouble.
buy a Dragon Age tee from Hot Topic and get a free DLC in-game item.

I think they're taking this a little too far. Protecting sales is one thing but this is nothing more than a cash in.
I love this game so far, I am on my first playthrough and I'm thinking the replayability will be amazing. The range of difficulties and variety of paths to be chosen provide a different game each playthrough. I also find that the game is really easy to learn, but will be challrnging to master.
Yeah, my average playthrough time is easily over 30 hours which is terrific, and the DLC helps to add another few.

I'm getting more and more interested in this game. I will wait for reviews on it, but this could be my Fallout 3 replacement until the new Vegas one comes out.
I'm a little put off by the combat though. It looks like typical MMORPG combat...aka clunky...set a bunch of commands and watch weird stand still animations take place. Hoping for a combat video soon cause the story and violence look top notch ahahah.
