I need some help with this matchup, I will buy one of
these along with MGS PO. I know both
are worth it, but I want your opinions (especially from those who own and are into them) to know which surpasses the other in
overall means.

Let me start by saying that I like Uncharted and Fallout 3 a lot....A LOT.

I have played the MP demo for Uncharted 2 a few times and I will be buying that game, no questions. I also own Uncharted 1 and have beat it 3 times.

All that said, I think Fallout 3 GOTY will give you more value. If you are only going to buy one, Fallout 3 (even without the DLC added) gave me almost 100 hours of gameplay to get a Platinum trophy. And I never once felt like I was "grinding" to get it. There are so many side story missions and places to discover it's amazing. With the DLC added this value goes through the roof.

The one thing to consider though is what kind of game you like more. Uncharted 2 is platforming, intense action and will play a lot like a movie. Fallout 3 is an adventure game that has RPG and FPS elements. You will spend a lot of time in FPS mode when in combat. The whole game can be played in FPS, but I often roam / explore in third person.

Also, you can totally play as a classic FPS (cover, shoot, run and gun, snipe etc) but you can also Pause time  using the VATS system, target limbs and blow them off. Personally. I frickin love this. And it is the cherry on the crack cake for me. I love VATS. but if you are a die hard fast paced FPS fan (i know you like killzone 2 a lot) this may take you out of the expereince.

There's no question Fallout 3 will give you the most gameplay hours and value for your money, especially with the new DLC. But now that the beta for Uncharted 2 is public, i recommend playing it and think about how much you liked the first one. if you LOVED it, the new online play adds a lot of added value to uncharted 2. The Co-Op MP is a lot of fun. So figure out which gameplay you'll like better and if you want to play an online game.  Unless online is a must and it's a land slide for Uncharted 2 gameplay, I say Fallout 3 will be the best bang for your buck.

That said, I'm getting Fallout 3. I'm still going to let this topic go on for people to discuss about this, while I still meditate on such awesomness versus a very anticipated game.

Fallout 3 stole about 100+ plus hours of my life and I didnt mind one second of it and it is easily one of the my personal favorite games of all time. As much as I enjoyed playing the Uncharted 2 demo, it is hard for me to compare the overall experience of playing Fallout 3 and comparing it to playing a demo of Uncharted 2. Though I know I will not be playing Uncharted 2 for 100+ hours asa I did with Fallout 3. Beside Fallout 3 the only other game I ever put that much time in with was Oblivion. So I would say get Fallout 3, you wont reget it and its just a better investment.

Gotta agree with Corey & Sith.  Before Fallout 3 I hated RPGs.  This game only stole about 50 hours from me cause I sold it so I could buy the GOTY edition.  Only way I'm playing Uncharted 2 for 100+ hours is if I gotta get 10,000 kills to get a freaking trophy (looking at you Resistance 2, ya bastard)

a friend of mine did that. he got 25 bucks from Gamestop and used to reserve GOTY for $60. The logic was getting the 5 DLC for $35 (remaining balance) than pay $50 for all 5 via PSN

One word. VATS = Fallout 3 ftw!

Just like Oblivion, Fallout 3 provides you with endless hours of gameplay. The only downside to Fallout 3 is no online play, but if you can live without pwning people online then it's Fallout 3 hands down.

Ya you're better off giving your games away instead of getting raped from GS lol. Then they sell the game for like a 2000% mark up. Fuckers, not to mention they sell used games as "new"

yeah you just have to check the BLUS code. If you go to the DLC online it says what the spine needs to say.

OK dudes, I've decided. I'll be blowing heads in a week and a half because I'm going to pre-order it.
