So apparently some screenshots have leaked out for MAG, the upcming 256 player PS3 exclusive from Zipper, the makers of Socom. I'm pretty impressed with how the game looks. I was honestly expecting it to look like a high-res PS2 game but the visuals look really solid and hopefully the game keeps a solid frame rate.

Whoa! Is it going to be a FPS? I was always expecting a TPS since these are the guys that did the original socom games so for some reason I never thought of it being a FPS.
Yeah i thought it was TPS too, if you can choose ill choose TPS cuz i think it is better for these type of games (no plot, no girls, just pure mayhem) hehe sorry i took this sentence from the crash commando trailer!!XDD

God0fWaR7845 I love that line from that game. You should play it, it is alot of fun. Back to subject it is looking really good. I hope they can achieve what they want to with this game and it doesn't need constant patching like Socom: Confertation.

Oh man. So many good shooting games. I'll be very interested to see how this game stacks up to Killzone over all. It's hard to take the stage after that act ahhaha
MAG seems like an awesome game, just the fact that developers can reach that level of having 256 players in one game and probobly no lag is pretty amazing, i was suprised that i get 0 lag when playing 60 people on resistance 2, so i wouldnt be too suprised if they aswell do a good job when it comes to the online like insomniac did, lets just hope it wont flop like Socom did, and this will be another game to add to my library and another game that shows the PS3's power.

Right now no one knows if it'll be fps only or if you can choose between fps and tps. I guess we'll find out more at E3 in June.
