Ok so what is this all about.....is it because the PS3 got the game late....is that why it now gets this nice retail edition?? Capcom WFT!!! And why not in the UK!!!!!
This deal will be exclusive for Gamestop. I think it is possible that Gamestop even paid their own cash to make this possible.
This nice retail edition will give the PS3 owners a voucher to download the game and a free one month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited. So there is still no disc. The whole thing will cost $14.99. I believe on XBox Live it cost 1200 points. I think thats $15. Also to make this even more hardcore, there will only be 15,000 copies made.
Now the game will not even have an instruction manual. So really you pay for the nice box and the comics subscription.
So what do you think?
If the game had that manual...i think this would be a very nice deal. But without it, i dont think 360 owners missed out on much.
If it came in an official PS3 box with a manual or some kind of printed thing. It would feel like you were apart of something a lot more exclusive if there was a disk or at least a USB stick with it on there...or something. Crappy deal is, they had a chance to sell this game to people who don't have online connections but just want to play locally. Now if they buy this they would still have to get online to redeem it.

Based on what it has i wont be getting the retail one.Ill stick to just buying it on PSN.Would surely get it if it came with more goodness,but the one month suscription is not enough.

the retail edition is just a ps3 box with no disc no manual and all it has is a redeem code so you can buy the game on the psn with out buying a psn card
If the price on psn is the same than this is a pretty good deal =P

Well i rather have the box then just the digital game, it could make my gaming collection look nicer, but im not into this game anyways so meh XD
I guess if you need an extra PS3 game case you could try and get this.
