The 360 is coming out with a new bundle in May. The Elite will be packaged with Fable II and Halo 3. Both are highly acclaimed games that are exclusive to the 360.
I personally have been looking forward to getting a 360 but with news to this bundle I think I will get this bundle because it is such a great deal.
Certainly a good bundle - is this limited to the US/Canada or will it be available in other areas too though?

Does Fable II require extensive knowledge of #1? Cause I've never played it.
Its an RPG so i dont think so, same goes for Fallout and oblivion, you dont have to play the first games.

I don't think it does. I believe Fable 2 takes place a couple hundred years after the first game so it doesn't really continue the story or feature any of the same characters. I think it's set in the same world and thats it.
You are right Ian. It is set way after the first one and doesn't continue the story of the first one. If you wanted to play Mass Effect then you would have to play the first one to understand the next one.

hmmm..i dont know, i wouldv'e probobly gotten a 360 if it had any games that serve my intrest.
Thats quite a nice bundle. (sarcasim) Just hope its RROD and e74 error free lol (sarcasim). And you don't need to play Fable 1 in order to get/understand Fable 2. And Fable 2 is a pretty good game. I would prefer CoD4/5 to Halo 3, that's still a good game.
i think this will be my chance to buy an xbox 360 again cause i sold mine to buy a ps3
