Hey guys!
So i just put on my USB flashdisk some movies and photos, which i wanted to transfer them to my PS3.
but when i do so the PS3 does read and tells me there is a flashdisk connected, but when i click it theres nothing in it.
this isn't just this flashdisk i tried about 3 of them...and the PS3 wont show me whats in them.
the USB ports in the PS3 are fine, i use them all the time to charge the controller.
any help?

Plug the flashdisk in your PC and use a program to format it. I believe it'll need to be formated FAT32 to be readable.
Yeah I have 4 2 gig key chain drives and only 2 of them work in my PS3 (they aren't all formated). FAT32 is right as Ian said. Just pop it in a PC and do a long / full format on it with FAT32 selected. You should be good to go.

Will his pics & stuff get deleted if he formats them to FAT32? I'm not sure but you should save your stuff on your PC HD 1st them format them to FAT32 just to be on the safe side. What I've starting doing is formatting my HDs to FAT32 before I use them.
Yes! Backup your stuff! It will all be deleted when you reformat.
Also, I fixed your sig JD! It should display now. I like that KZ gamer tag theme.
Thats what happens with my Ipod,my solution is that i press Triangle(Brings up the menu on the right) then open,your content should show up.

Thank you kind sir. I just wish my list of games didn't block the eye but the Warhawk, LBP & Burnout themes are cool too

I think the flashdisk may have to be formated a certain way to be readable on the PS3.
