Continuing with their pre-E3 trend, Bethesda has released a gameplay trailer for their upcoming supernatural assassin game.
The more and more I see of Dishonored, the more I wish October would get here. While it certainly wasn't as pretty as the original cinematic, this gameplay gave us our first peak inside Dishonored's game mechanics.
The trailer really shows off the variety of areas the game takes place. In case you couldn't tell there seems to be a plague going on in our whaling town. Dropping bodies in the water... via train... on the streets. Hell, even big ass, plague infected rats come at you. You know what I say? "Come at me bro!" We also get our first look at who I'm assuming is The Empress, the woman Corvo has been "framed" of killing. This means we can expect some crazy, heart wrenching flashbacks.
I noticed a lot of slow motion scenes in this trailer; this could point to a bullet time like move, kill cams or it could just be an effect placed during post-production. The trailer also showed some of Corvo's more supernatural abilities. One of the scenes shows Corvo fighting the steam punk AT-STs, and he uses some sort of force push.
I'm excited... are you? However, I think the one thing this trailer is missing is more blood. Take note Arkane Studios. Anyways, I'm sure we can expect more info on Dishonored next week during E3.
