Behold! The Man-Child!

Dear God, I'm 30 years old. One week away from 31. My father was raising 4 kids by this age! Me? I'm raising freakin' Pokemon.

Is this a personality flaw of mine? I mean, a lot of my peers appear to be in similar situations, so maybe this could just be a generational thing. What could possibly have made such a big difference between last generation and this one? My guess: video games.

Xbox Live Gold Membership Discounted $20

Ever since the original Xbox, Microsoft changed the online space by making it a paid service. While Sony fought, for years, to maintain a free online service for their gamers, the model eventually was adopted by them as well.

Gamers today now have to pay, regardless of platform (unless we're counting the Wii U), to play their video games online.

Fable Legends Will Be Free to Play, Characters for Puchase

Last year's E3 seemed to be all about the multiplayer experience. While we haven't returned to full couch-coop era of gaming, we did get a bunch of announcements of games that were going to revolve around four player cooperative play. One of the most surprising of those announcements, in my point of view, with the introduction of a new Fable game, Fable Legends.

Perhaps even more surprising, then the original multiplayer-focus announcement of the game, is the news that comes today: Fable Legends will be a Free-to-Play title.

Toejam and Earl Resurrected on Kickstarter

If you were a gamer in the ‘90s, and owned a Sega Genesis, then the chances are pretty damn good that you were also a fan of Toejam and Earl. The Genesis saw two outings of the intrepid heroes and they became popular enough characters in their time that a lot of people saw them as the secondary mascots for the Genesis alongside Sonic the Hedgehog.

While an attempt to bring them back was made in the early 2000s (on the original Xbox) the series has been pretty much dead ever since.

Forza Horizon 2 Adds Fast and Furious Theme Pack

Every once in a while the video game industry joins forces with a movie studio to produce something absolutely ridiculous which allows me to fulfill my movie-fantasies.

I’m a long-time fan of the Fast and Furious film franchise and, as most who regularly read the site are aware, a big fan of Forza. That’s why the news that came out today, the announcement of a Fast and Furious car pack for Horizon 2, is some of the best news I’m likely to get all day!

New Arkham Knight Trailer Features The Scarecrow

As mentioned on the Radial Dialogue Podcast (is that what I'm calling it?) Arkham Knight got a new trailer this morning.

March Games with Gold Titles Leaked, Double in April!

Earlier this morning an image surfaced with information regarding the Xbox “Games with Gold” promotion showing off not only what we can look forward to in March (a bit early) but also revealing the fact that in the following month, April, we’ll get twice as many free games.

The image surface on NeoGaf this morning and was subsequently picked up and ran on virtually every game news site. Chances are pretty good you’ve already seen it, if not here’s the image and link to the thread on NeoGaf:

Radial Dialogue - Episode 2 - SteamVR and Dragon Ball Xenoverse

Alright! Episode 2 is up and another very important lesson learned. Casey should not be allowed to play a video game about Dragon Ball while trying to uphold his end of the conversation.

Street Fighter V Charlie Nash Reveal, Bison Tease, and Beta Program

Capcom just released their latest from the upcoming Street Fighter V for PS4 and PC: The reveal trailer for none other than Charlie Nash! While this is exciting news (that we knew was coming) for fans of Street Fighter Third Strike, the more important news was what followed.

A Life in Games

I do talk a lot about the games I played when I was a kid. There are countless classic titles that I just like to sit down with, from time to time, for the purpose of blowing through something quick and familiar. With today's culture being steeped in nostalgia - everything  demanding everyone's attention has that 'old-school' feel, it's a freaking epidemic - it's always fun to think back to the way things were when you were a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed mutant squirrel child opening a brand-new SNES game for the first time. Wait, you weren't born with a tail, just me? Well, shit.
