If you thought the teaser trailer for Return of Alice looked cool then get ready for a gut punch: the trailer was a fake. Now fake may be a strong word to use considering it was made by an artist who worked with Alice creator American McGee and the trailer itself was made as a pitch to EA. The quality of the trailer and the teaser site that was launched, which has been pulled, had a lot of people aboard the Alice hype train.
It’s a shame that Alice 2 won’t look like what we saw in the unofficial teaser trailer as the stop motion animation and creepy vibe was really interesting. American McGee hasn’t commented on what we can expect from Alice 2 so who knows what he has in store for us and if it’ll possibly be better than what was in the trailer.
