If one of the things that Borderlands was definitely about, it was about guns, guns and more guns baby! Small or big guns, collecting these bad boys of destruction were a tireless and fun endeavor when gamers first visit Pandora back in 2009.
Now Gearbox Software is set unleash Borderlands 2 in 2012 and you can bet that guns will be aplenty on our return trip to Pandora. Not only that, Borderlands 2 will introduce the Gunzerker which will allow the newest character, Salvador, to dual wield some pretty bad ass guns. Reminder that coming up on this Friday (August 19), Gearbox will unveil some Borderlands 2 goodness for the first time live from Gamescon 2011 and you can check it out live as it happens from home via 2K Games' Ustream Channel starting at 8pm PST/11pm EST. Hopefully we will be able to see the game in action and also see the unveiling of the remaining three new characters of Borderlands 2.
Borderlands 2 is set to release sometime during 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3 & PC.
