Here's further proof of Duke Nukem Forever actually being real [Video]

If the notion of Duke Nukem Forever’s impending May release seems too good to be true for you then here’s a brand new video which points to the news being actual reality.  Yes, there’s no reason to pinch yourself or activate your kick to awaken yourself from your level 2 or level 3 dreams as Duke Nukem Forever is indeed coming out this year in a fashion that’s almost befitting of the character, big and unexpected.

Our latest look at Duke Nukem Forever shows that even though it’s been over ten years since his last game, Duke hasn’t lost a single step. Duke is still a fan of the ladies, still likes his cigars and bubblegum and can still kick major alien ass to the point where it almost seems unfair.  Things look pretty straightforward and basic in the video, but this is DNF we’re talking about here so it won’t necessarily reinvent the wheel from a gaming perspective. But what the game does look to provide is a somewhat old-school fps experience in which everything is big, loud, brutal, and entertaining as hell.

With its May 3rd release date in North America, Duke Nukem Forever looks to be the epitome of a Hollywood Summer blockbuster done up in video game form. If gamers can turn off their brains a bit and accept Duke Nukem Forever for what it is, then the game should be embraced with open arms instead of being cast aside as a joke.

"Yea, but after 12 f-king years it should be"
I appreciate a good self-aware reference... Hahaha.

The game is looking great, in the sense that it's looking like a classic Duke game. Plenty of blurred images, profanity, nut shots, and one-liners. Can't ask for much more than that out of a Duke game!

Really looks like last year will be Duke's final reign as King of Vaporware. Hail to the King baby, hail to the king.

You need More proof then me actually playing it, meeting the creator and having a shirt/beltbuckle/drugs to prove it.

I think what you need is Duke himself to show up at your doorstep on May 3 and beat you down will a pillow sack filled with copies of the game while he screams "You think I'm real now!?"

I saw the game, I played the game, and I really enjoyed the game, but even I am fucking holding out in believing this game is coming out in may. I'll believe it when its in my hands and I am able to put the actual disc into my PS3.

I think its 100% certain that on May 3rd the game will be out. I would had some concern if they had originally revealed the release date sometime in the Fall. With the usual heavy game schedule in the Fall it would had been more likely the Duke would had been pushed back to early 2012. Plus another delay would just be bad press and honestly believe Gearbox wants the game out on time just for the sake of this 12 year wait to be finally over.

So I pre-ordered this game today at my local game store. Not a gamestop a local independent game store. Yes they still do exsist so I am a little more confident that they are releasing this game on May 3rd.
