Kagura Looks As Crazy As It Sounds

Earlier today we received our first word on the new 3DS side-scrolling game Kagura, which will soon be known as that 3DS game with the big breasted ninjas.  Simplifying a game into such a “vulgar” or “raw” description may seem a bit misogynistic, but the game literally has buxom female ninjas (in schoolgirl outfits to boot) front and center as its key selling point.  With a game like Kagura you’re either going to love it, appreciate it for the silliness it offers or wish that such things never existed.

Anyway the reason I’m once again bringing up Kagura (no I’m not a Japanese addicted writer who happens to be a whore for hits) is because some screens and concept art has actually been released for the game.  Even on the premise alone (female ninjas + schoolgirl outfits + 3D cleavage) one would think the game would look absurd but I really didn’t think publisher/developer Marvelous would go exactly as far as they could.  In all honestly, Kagura looks like it’s three tentacles away from being a full-on hentai, more-so than the extremely creepy Xbox 360 game GalGun which involved gamers shooting young girls with pheromones so they could moan in pleasure.

I guess in a way it should’ve been expected that Kagura would be as cliché as it is in respect to the art style, but I wasn’t expecting the game to be as crazier as it is.  I may sound like a complete perv or stereotype by saying this, but I really do want to check out Kagura merely to see how stupid it is to play and what sort of 3D action is provided to live up to the games theme of it being an “Enormous Breast Drama Hyper Battle.”

These screens also confirm that there’s no chance in hell of Kagura ever getting localized for Western audiences. So if you want to play the game you better own a Japanese 3DS otherwise it’s not going to happen.
