Still playing Home? No? Well neither is anyone else really. That’s why Sony has decided to upgrade the navigation. 1.35 is taking a tip from the cross media bar to help simplify navigation. That means it’s going to be a whole lot easier for you to get to a line up for bowling tomorrow.
Here’s the basic concept of how things will work tomorrow-forwards: You’ll launch the service. You start up the new navigation service, which is an awful lot like the XMB. From here you can access categories like: Favorites (your favourite places in home!), Personal Spaces, Friends (find out what your friends are doing in Home. Seriously, what are they doing there?), Explore (browse all of Home from the comfort of your new interface), and Recommended (which is where Sony will tell you what you should look at).
All in all a pretty slick upgrade. But not reason enough for me to ever want to get back into Home. Should you find that the only thing that was holding you back from enjoying home was walking around it though, 1.35 comes out tomorrow.
