If you are a Sci-Fi buff such as myself and many of my fellow Shogun Gamer community members then you should be aware that the Alien movie franchise (with the exception of the fourth movie which was meh) is one of the most influential and beloved Sci-Fi cinema ever.
Starting on October 26th, The Alien Anthology box set will make its Blu-Ray debut. The new box set will include six Blu-Ray discs that will contain all release versions of the movies which will include both the theatrical and director's cut versions. Also to be included will be all the extra bonus materials from 1992's laser-disc releases, the 1999's "Legacy" version release and 2003's "Alien Quadrilogy" box set. That's sixty plus hours of bonus material that will include deleted scenes, extended scenes, screen tests, making of documentaries, images, movie score and a plethora of other face hugging Alien goodies.
The regular Blu-Ray set will retail for about $100 and is available to pre-order on such sites as Amazon.
For an extra $50 you can impress your friends by ordering the Guardian Alien Anthology housed in a special limited edition Comicon Egg Packaging. The perfect conversation starter whenever having guests over at your abode or storage locker apartment (I don't judge) and yes the egg does light up. This exclusive set will only be available to order directly from Foxconnect.com.
