When you compare Altair from the first Assassin’s Creed to Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2 it’s almost like comparing a DVD to a Blu-ray. Both of them do the same things and are good at it but the newer tech of course has the edge and once you experience it you won’t want to go back. That’s a somewhat fitting way to compare the two characters especially since Ezio literally has a tech advantage and upgraded abilities compared to Altair to the point where it may be hard going back to play AC1.
In Ubisoft’s latest trailer for Assassin’s Creed 2 we get a peek at what gives Ezio the tech edge which is all thanks to Leonardo da Vinci who supplies you with a wide variety of weapons and gadgets ranging from double hidden blades, a hidden pistol, and a hang glider. Seriously, how will you be able to go back to playing Altair and his with his old arsenal of one hidden blade and no hidden pistol? We all know that hidden pistols are the in thing this season amongst highly trained and mobile assassins.
