Fans of buttery beats and the world of TRON will be happy to hear that Daft Punk’s TRON: Legacy soundtrack will be available on November 22nd. For the folks who haven’t been following every piece of info concerning TRON: Legacy like I have, the iconic techno duo Daft Punk is behind the original score for Disney’s upcoming sequel to the cult classic TRON.
TRON fanatics should take note that a Deluxe Edition of the soundtrack will be released for those who want the optimal TRON: Legacy soundtrack experience. For only $39 TRON fans can pick up a physical CD digipack, an exclusive Daft Punk film poster and a high quality digital download of the album. If that wasn’t enough the Deluxe Edition will also include a downloadable bonus track.
There’s also a standard digital release with a pre-order bonus of a bonus track for those not willing to lay down $39 for the deluxe edition. Both the Deluxe and Standard Edition are available for pre-order now for those who want their Daft Punk TRON goodness on November 22nd. Amidst this awesome news I somewhat find myself in a quandary of sorts. I’m definitely going to pick up the soundtrack on November 22nd, but I probably won’t listen to anything since I kind of don’t want to spoil the movie for me. So in a somewhat silly move, I’m going to have a CD staring and in a way taunting me for a month until I see TRON: Legacy on December 17th.
