S#!T You Want - Better Late than Never !!!

Welcome to week #19 of Cool S#!T You Want. This week we brought it back to the simple wants of every person. A $52,000 lunch and a Baby grand piano. While some may say these are overboard, I think otherwise. For what other reason do we work 40 hour work weeks and grind away at mindless jobs if not for a pair of light up sneakers, or a private yacht. Back to the simple things in life. Enjoy, and heres this weeks, Cool S#!T You Want!

As always, if you or your company have a product or service you think we at ShogunGamer would call some excellent Cool S#!T. Feel free to contact me via Michael-Sean@shogungamer, and I will be sure to contact you with all the information we require, Enjoy!

Alice and the world of Wonderland is back with this Return of Alice teaser trailer

Nine years ago game designer American McGee gave us a unique take on the world of Alice in Wonderland with the release of Alice.  Instead of being an updated version of the classic tale the game had a now orphaned Alice in a mental institution after she attempted to kill herself.  Alice is eventually rescued by the White Rabbit who needs her help to save Wonderland which is now a wasteland due to the rule of the Queen of Hearts.

God of War 3 Ultimate Edition announced

Earlier this year PS3 owners received a survey from Sony concerning bonus items for a God of War 3 Collector’s Edition.  Besides asking if gamers would be interested in a possible HD release of the first two games, which we all know is happening, questions included things like if we would be interested in having seeing a Making-Of feature or even a Kratos statue so we can look in awe of how badass he is.

Mad Max 4 is finally going to happen

After a few bumps in the road we’re finally getting another installment in the widely popular post-apocalyptic vehicular mayhem that is Mad Max.  Now this isn’t a false start like was the case a few years ago when production was ready to being on Mad Max: Fury Road once again starring Mel Gibson, and reportedly Heath Ledger in the role of his son, but was shortly shuttered after the shooting location of Namibia became a bit too unsafe due to terrorist issues.

[Game Review] JU-ON: The Grudge is as scary as a kitten

Overall Feeling:

JU-ON: The Grudge is a complete mess and doesn’t achieve what it sets out to do: to be a scary as hell game. Instead it’s a subpar horror game that isn’t scary and is downright ugly and boring to play.

The Pros:

Uh.... Hmmmm.... I didn’t pay for my copy of the game. It’s a good game to rent and make fun of or to dissect if you’re into game design.

The Cons:

Ugly visuals that lack any sort of atmosphere or detail, wonky controls, boring gameplay with a non-existent story. The game isn't scary at all which defeats the whole purpose of playing.

ShogunGamer.com Rating :
2

When it comes to horror games I’m usually a complete pansy. That being said I can toughen up at times as I enjoyed the Silent Hill games which featured some freaky and disturbing imagery.

Additional risque Bayonetta costumes

If the previously shown Bayonetta alternate costumes didn’t make you feel all tingly down below then perhaps these new ones will. In addition to some already revealing costumes it turns out there are some additional costumes gamers can unlock in their quest to make Bayonetta their latest video game girlfriend who will always be with them in their dreams or erotic fan fiction.

In case you still care here are some direct feed screens of Epic Mickey

When the scans for Epic Mickey were released the general reaction was “uh, is that what we’re getting?”  Not only did the game seem to fail to deliver anything as intriguing as the concept art but from a technical standpoint it wasn’t looking too hot either.

District 9 Blu-ray to feature God of War 3 demo

In a somewhat odd pairing Sony has announced that the Blu-ray version of the sci-fi drama District 9 will include a demo for God of War 3.  So if you weren’t planning on picking up the God of War Collection which includes a download voucher for the game you can try out Kratos’ latest adventure if you were planning to pick up D9.
