Shut up fool! Details on the upcoming Mr T Video game!

ZootFly has announced a new PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 videogame based on Mr. T's range of graphic novels. Shut up fool! There's more! The game will will also incorporate developer Will Wright as a character. That being said, this will either be the worst or the greatest thing of all time. I would even accept so bad that it is good.

[UPDATED WITH VIDEO] First look and details on Uncharted 2 multiplayer modes

While the surprise announcement set for today was leaked on Friday that Uncharted 2 would feature a multiplayer mode things aren't entirely spoiled as we now have our first look at what the mp modes will look like.

First screensots of Dante's Inferno on the PSP.

Information has risen from the depths of hell in the form of two screen shots for Dante's Inferno on the PSP.

Based on the screen shots it's probably safe to say that this game will make some nods to the God of War franchise in terms of level design and gameplay. Chains of Olympus was able to create an amazing port of the franchise to the hand held PSP, but only time will tell if Dante's Inferno will be able to say the same.

Norwegian King Denies Boy's Request to Change Name to Sonic

Norway's King Harald V stepped in recently when a six-year-old boy sought to change his name to "Sonic X."

The boy, whose given name is Christer, wrote to the King with his request. But was Denied.

Sadly, the King could not change Christer's name, but not because the change would result in a child running around with a ridiculous video game character's title. No, the request was rejected for the sole reason that at six-years-old, Christer was not old enough to make such a decision. Thus, the boy must contact King Harald V in twelve years time once he's turned 18.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete offers an enjoyable experience despite a few issues

Overall Feeling:

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete is a bit lacking in the story department but amazing visuals and some really impressive action scenes make the movie quite an enjoyable experience.

The Pros:

Amazing visuals and action. The new scenes in the Complete version help add some emotional meaning to the film as well as help add more closure to the character of Zack. The film may feel a bit like fan service but at least Square Enix gave us good fan service.

The Cons:

Story is a bit lacking. Some of the voice acting is a bit poor. Some may not like the all flash no substance approach the movie takes.

ShogunGamer.com Rating :
8

Easily one of the best pieces of fan service that has been released in the past 10 years was Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Fans were clamoring for a return to the city of Midgar to continue the adventures of Cloud, the stoic hero that grew to become a massive fan favorite after the release of FFVII. When Advent Children was released 3 years ago some fans were quick to claim that the movie was all flash and no substance, that it was merely a bunch of well choreographed action scenes that had a non-sensiscal story to tie things together. Is that true? It is partly.

Hands-on impressions of the Final Fantasy XIII Trial Version

Ever since its premiere trailer at E3 2006 fans have been absolutely clamoring for Final Fantasy XIII to be released. It has definitely been a tough three years since then due to new media for the game has been rather scarce and limited to the occasional Famitsu article and closed theater screenings at Square Enix events.  Add that to the announcement at last year’s E3 that the game would be multiplatform and appear on the Xbox 360 as well and you’re definitely going to have a fanbase that is restless and angry.

Bioshock film gets halted

While most of us hate when a film adaptation of a game is announced many were quite interested to see how the film version of Bioshock would turn out. Not only did Bioshock have a bevy of themes and interesting design choices that would make it perfect for a film but the fact that director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) was involved and turned down directing duties on Pirates 4 so he could be able to direct Bioshock made many think this could be the film to break the game film curse.

Sony promises an 'Electrifying' announcement for Monday

Star Wars co-op action could be coming soon

Destructoid is reporting today that there is a new Star Wars game in the works for the PS3 and 360 which is said to feature co-op play. Is it the long awaited Star Wars Battlefront 3 that was in the works at Free Radical and was later unjustly cancelled by LucasArts? No it isn’t. Instead the game is rumored to be a 3rd person action game set in the Star Wars Clone Wars universe.

Kitty need saving? Bionic Fireman to the rescue!

New "Bionic Fireman" marketing campaign brings a new twist on the Bionic Commando protagonist, Nathan “RAD” Spencer.  The live-action video is pretty much a sure fire hit because it involves a small kitten and a robotic arm.

I hope more game companies do things like this. I'm tired of the usual "WE ARE THE MOST AMAZING GAME EVER" marketing jargon. I enjoy seeing North American ads that can take a second to be funny and original with their brands.

Bionic Commando is due out on May 19th for the Xbox 360and PlayStation 3.

Split/Second racing devs claim "The racing genre is dying out." But they're here to fix it.

Black Rock Studios head Tony Beckwith and game director Nick Baynes claim their studio's upcoming game Split/Second will revive the racing genre. I didn't even know the genre needed revival, but the two had this to say.
